I am in a delimma:

Zotac RTX 2080ti Amp or Asus RTX 2080ti Strix O11G , Zotac is providing three years warranty while Asus one. Price wise in par ( + or - 50 USD at max). Strix I need to wait further but Zotac I can preorder now.

Solid warranty & RMA from Zotac part due strong partnership between Zotac and PC&Parts. While Strix has better design and VRM overall.

Any Zotac 1080ti AMP users here what is your experience so far in:

OCing
Cooling
Card Sagging
Durability
I see that you want to get the Asus but the Zotac warranty is tempting you, I say, get the Asus, you will most probably sell it for the RX 3080Ti before the 1 year warranty period ends.

I think the 7nm will be released in 2020 not 2019 , still 2060 2050 models have an ETA in 2019. Hopefully they will release the 2080ti strix in couple of weeks after the official of turing on the 27th of this month. Still Asus did not set a release data of Strix , preorders are not set on turbo and regular.
MrClass wroteAsus Strix for sure
Any ETA or news mate.
LifeEngineer wroteGo for any of those and gimme your 1080Ti :-D

:) , pascal prices are going down each week. Still in Lebanon they have an old stock and still the 1080ti ~ 950 to 1000 USD. Too bad.

Indeed but waiting is pain in the ... YOLO , I always grasp what tech currenty offers me in its best present and I sell the previous gen before the announcement date of new gen in couple of days. As such I minimize my lose like I did with 1080ti to 2080ti upgrade.

I have a Zotac Amp 980GTX. Still working great since the launch of the 980GTX series and it is silent.
After the "Embargo" is revealed on the rtx 2080ti / 2080 and reviews start to roll out I will definitely go with the Strix

Cooling is awesome , VRM are covered , silent , OC potential none of the modern games on 2160p ultra tipped below 60 fps. I wait for strix definitely I will cancel the Zotac Amp preorder despite it is extended warranty.
