Hello,
Since I got an offer from a university in Europe, I need to send my degree by post.
Can someone walk me through the options, procedure and costs ?

The most straightforward way would be to call up DHL, UPS, Fedex, Aramex and LibanPost. Give them the dimensions and weights and get quotes from them. Some will be cheaper than others with similar guarantees on delivery time.
DHL will be expensive, but you'll get peace of mind.

I would say it would cost between $50 and $100.
If you can afford it, I would recommend going for the confirmed delivery where they have to sign on delivery, to increase your chances of the document of getting there, and if it does not get there then you have proof that you sent it and it's not your fault.
This is just a guess, I am not up-to-date with the current costs.
Congratulations for your offer and I wish for the best.

I sent my applications through Aramex a few months ago. It was fast and you get a notification via sms or email when it gets there.
As for the price I think it might cost you around 50$, since they have different offers and discounts for first timers etc.. Just contact them and ask for a quota.
PS: What university and what major if you don't mind me asking?

Around 3 years ago, Aramex charged me $39 to send a paper to Canada. Not sure if the rates are still the same. You can always call Aramex and ask them. Aramex will even pick up the envelope from whichever address you want.
If you choose to go with Aramex, make sure you have the complete address of the recipient as well as a phone number.

Thanks guys for the suggestions and kind messages. Sorry for the late reply I forgot I didn't have the mail I signed up with.
I contacted DHL and they gave me a rate of $60 +$6 for home pickup (and $10 if I choose to get insurance).
I will check the other services now.
