I wear glasses with an anti glare filter and have seen some people use screen filters also. And take breaks where you just close your eyes for a minute or so (not with your boss around)---does help somewhat too.
Do you have any idea how much does these glasses cost? I always wanted to buy such glasses but I never knew from where or how much.
As for my advice for the eye strain problem. it's not the healthiest advice out there. I just go out to the balcony and smoke a cigarette (without using my phone). I guess you could do it without smoking.
They generally aren't expensive <$50 in most cases going to usually be $20-$30 for a solid pair, although I don't know where you could get some here. . In the meantime, you could go to an opthamologist and get your eyes checked, and even if you don't need glasses, get a non prescription pair made with an anti glare glaze. It is usually put on for people who wear glasses so they won;t go nuts when they are out in the sun, but have secondary uses as well. Hopefully it will help reduce the strain on your eyes.

Edit: You may be able to find these glasses at someplace that deals with gaming or just ask at an eye doctor (or two). The problem you have is not unique, but in this country, it is just a matter of finding someone is whatever field, that can help you. If you can't, either order them from somewhere or have someone bring something for you from the Gulf or wherever.
