Good Parts but the prices are not that much discounted
Do you own a PC atm ? I bet you do cause you got the 1070. If so, nothing out there is worth upgrading currently. NVidia is keeping prices high cause of ego (they have the fastest gpu), AMD gpus are ... AMD gpus ... Ryzen in lebanon is not worth it, plus no one knows what the upgrade plan is with these. Intel cpus right now are even worse, anything past the 4rth gen is useless really, unless you're a content creator (CAD work and rendering) .

What are your current specs?
yes . mainly i am upgrading because i need too. i have 2 pc one in kuwait and one in lebanon. the one in kuwait is the primary with gtx 1070 and i7 3770k it still work perfectly but the pc in lebanon having some problems in the cpu and motherboard it is always at 100% cpu usage even after formatting all the hard disk so it isn't a virus. the cpu is at the end of its life i7 2600,so i decided to remove the mobo cpu and ram from primary pc and put them in the secondary and buy new mobo and cpu for the primary. i didn't want the secondary pc to mess up and stop me at the same time upgrade from 4 cores cpu to 6 cores i know it doesnt differ in gaming, but it is better future proof since i need to do that because of the 10 years old 2600 nearly dead cpu

I disagree , upgrading to an i7 8700k or even an i5 8600k / i5 8400 and an 1080ti will give me a substantial boost in everything , I upgraded from 1070 to 1080ti a day and night difference , you cannot generalize and say " nothing worth upgrading".

Set aside Ryzen and Vega in gaming they are being beaten hard with the Coffe Lake and Pascal.
Yes I can generalize, I've never lived through a worse time to upgrade than now. When I upgraded from 750Ti to 970, that was and upgrade! And it cost me 300$.
But upgrading to 1080 / 1080 Ti is worthless, so is to an i7 > 4xxx . Of course I'd get boosted performance, but for somewhere around 1600$ ... no that's not an upgrade that is worth it.

An exception, like I said in my first post, are content creators, who will get a good return of investment when their rendering time lowers.

Grab a 1080ti and you will feel how positive this upgrade will be -

A card like the 1080 Ti will also provide longevity—the previous generation 980 Ti still posts similar numbers to a GTX 1070, and it came out in mid-2015. That means the 1080 Ti should still be going strong in 2020, and possibly later if you're willing to tune performance of more demanding games a bit. -PCGamer.

i think my gtx 1070 will remain till 2025 :P i am still playing bf1 on 7950 hd i overclock and play it at max except shading. regarding the upgrading topic do u think it worth it to go for M2 if i already have 850 evo samsung ssd do u think there price will go down. i was thinking to get the intel optane memory, but i red reviews and testing mentioned that it is nearly useless if u already have ssd
