  • Lebanese meza restaurant

As the title says,
What are some best Lebanese restaurants you recommend for open Meza and for a convenient price say 30$/ person. (Please specify what they offer also, for example open drinks etc..).
And by best, the criteria included are food (especially food) and the atmosphere, place/view etc...
Preferably in Beirut and surroundings.
I have experienced some nice places with great food, the cost is above the mentioned budget, but you get what you pay for, so maybe you want to keep those places in mind in case you decide to stretch the budget one day:
1- Venezia, Hilton Metropolitan hotel, mostly Italian food, but very tasty and delicious, followed by a nice dessert buffet (soft drinks and juices included), last time I went there it was for 48$ per person.
2- Mosaic, Phoenicia Hotel, they have a buffet everyday, Monday and Thursday Sushi night (Amazing sushi, best sushi I have ever tasted in Lebanon with no restrictions makki, sushi, sashimi etc ... all included) for 55$ per person. Friday is seafood night, never tried it but I heard it is great as well but costs more than 55$. Rest of the week is a mix of international and Lebanese meza also tastes great. In additions all their buffet are followed by an out of this world dessert buffet ;) drinks are not included and it is expensive ... 7up can for 8000LL ...
3- Candelabra, Kempinski Summerland Hotel, similar to Mosaic and tastes great ... but more expensive than the two above (66$ per person).

I belive it might be 50,000 LBP or $30 but not sure,
In my experience, I know Diwan (Diwan al Sultan Ibrahim) has a good quality of food. It's just a regular Lebanese restaurant. The place is big, and they have been around for a while. They have a branch in Geitawi or not far and one in Antelias. I was once impressed by the foul dish, but it was a long time ago. Anyway I was never disappointed by the quality of food there.

Not exactly cheap but you may be able to manage within your budget.

If you want cheaper and authentic you can try le Chef in Gemmayze (much smaller). I think you can even divide your budget by 2 there. It is popular amongst tourists.

I haven't been at either for a while. I'm not fully sure about the new prices, but these are old restaurants and I bet that the quality is reliable and that they still roughly follow the same formula.

Loris restaurant in Gemmayzeh has some pretty good Meza dishes with a modern twist. Prices are generally between 25 to 30$ per person.
