cannot connect to technicolor tg582n v2 router via ethernet

I have managed to connect my pc to my router via ethernet. After mucking around with the settings( setting static local ip for my desktop and disabling ipv6),I cannot connect to my router through ethernet anymore( wifi still works fine), what's worse is that this router( supplied by ogero), didn't reset any of the settings I placed after holding the reset button for long enough except wifi name also, anything connected through ethernet that has a different hostname has a self set ip
