Hello, guys, any one happens to know what is the price of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and where can I find it?
Your best bet is aliexpress. There is no reseller in Lebanon.
Been using Mi5 Prime since January, Xiaomis make great phones.

I suggest you wait for Redmi note 5 or mi7, they should be released starting next year.

I don't see what the big deal is about Mi Mix 2, except the 6GB RAM, it's way too expensive for a 12MP, 2.0 aperture cam. Maybe The big screen justifies the high price? The battery is only 3400 mAh, that's gonna be empty in no time on an Octa Core and 6 inches screen. You can look for note 4x if the screen size doesn't matter.

But to answer your question, you can buy it from Aliexpress, I was charged 40000 LBP customs for Mi5 Prime, and 30000 LBP for Lenovo Zuk Z1. I ordered 3 phones before that from Ali Express, and wasn't charged any customs (2 of them were Lenovo Zuk Z1 and 1 a Xiaomi)

Thanks a lot bro. And by this, you mean that I can trust buying this expensive stuff from Aliexpress, and wouldn't there be a chance of them getting damaged?
I can't guarantee it, but so far I've ordered 5 phones from Ali Express, and all of them are working fine. 3 Lenovo Zuk Z1 and 2 Xiaomi.
One of the Lenovo's fingerprint stopped working after few months. The Xiaomis seems to be better in terms of software and hardware, one of them fell on the floor like zillion times so far, it doesn't have a cover, just a tempered glass screen protector. The plastic is kinda broken and shattered after all the drops, but the phone is still working like a charm.
I've dropped the Mi5 like 20 times by mistake so far, but the shockproof cover and tempered glass screen protector did a great job protecting it so far, the phone is still looking brand new and working flawlessly.

They usually wrap the phones in those bubble plastic things, so the chance of getting the phone broken from the outside is rare.

I think there's a topic on this forum somewhere where people were discussing ordering mobile phones from Ali Express, maybe the Amhaz thread or the ali express thread.

Seems like a great phone, but I would think twice about it. I'm a Xiaomi user myself. I have an Mi 5 Prime which I got from Aliexpress. The hardware is great, but the software is another story.
I updated my phone 2 days ago, and that's when all hell broke loose. Update was terrible, it disabled 2 out of the 4 cores I have, so there is a catastrophic performance drop (if you're familiar with the big.LITTLE architecture, the 2 big cores are the ones that got disabled).
RAM management is horrible, sure the Mi 5 Prime has 3 GBs of RAM, but it fells like I have 1 GB. The memory management issue is common to almost all Xiaomi phones so those 6 GBs of the Mix 2 won't make you as happy as you think they will.

If I were you, I would seriously think 2 and 3 times before buying the Mix 2. I literally spent weeks researching and going through every review and forum post I could find before buying my Mi 5, and yet I got screwed with a terrible update. If you do end up buying it, familiarize yourself with rooting and flashing ROMs, you will probably do that after a few months of ownership. I hope you don't face the problems that I'm facing, just thought I should let you know.
