I have the phantek pc-th14pe air cooler and honestly it's super big in my case ruining the case not just that it's not doing a good job at idle 35c and at gaming 70c i checked the screws and everything and same thing since all my friends have watercoolers im thinking to take a step and go for it but im really afraid of leaks like my computer cost me a ton and ill die if something happens to it honestly i was thinking of going with this Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2 i have the core i7 6700k and i want you guys just to be fully honest with me about the leakage.

Hey man your cooler should be fine as its one of the better air coolers. Maybe check the thermal paste application? Or proper air flow in the case could help, maybe your gpu is dumping the heat inside. If your not going to OC an H100 is waste, get H80 or something.
Concerning the leaks, its either leaking or not, you can always test the cooler on the side. Turn you pc on as is and just connect the cooler pump in the cpu fan. It will turn on and you can give it a few minus to check leaks. If all is well install it inside your pc.

The chances of a leak from a quality product like corsair coolers are really, really low. I was on air before and even though it was a good cooler, the size makes accessing anything on the motherboard difficult, and is ugly.
I'd say go for a liquid cooler, test it on the first try and if it's leak free, you're good to go for years.
