  • Bank Audi Horizon Plus Blue Card

Anyone hold this kind of this card , my salary deposits are in Audi so I can have this card which I seriously conidering of having it.

http://cards.bankaudi.com.lb/card/38-Horizon-Plus-Blue-.html

- A network of merchants (like Tahan /Khoury etc..) are involved in which I can purchase something on 6 months installments payments having a zero interest up to 2000usd I guess , the customer service told me. Is the zero interest thing real , she insisted that it is 100 % zero interest on this specific network of merchants.

-Monthly Payments are detucted from my salay debt account. Example I went to Tahan and I purchased a TV worth 1500 USD , 1500 / 6 = 250 USD deduction.

Any Clearification / Input are welcomed before I made my decison.
Hey, i thought you could by by credit as you mentioned over 6 month without having a specific card.

If I'm right they just facilitate the exchange of information from the bank to the seller.

Sorry if I'm wrong but i remember seeing ads from Khoury home and bhv about the 6 months thing

No mate they have three months payment policy , you pay 25% of the initial price as a down payment and the remaining the next two months. In this payment facility you cannot take the product , they only reserve it for you. You only take it when you finish the 3 payments , on the 3rd.

I don't want to sound negative. But there's nothing a bank would in your favor.
However they could be taking commission from the merchant which is less likely.
Basically in bank audi you can't take a loan less that $7000. The only way to get less than that is by using the horizon card. If i remembr correctly, you have up to 3 years to close the debt and you are subject to a 1.75% interest. So unless you plan on closing the amount in 3 months, it's not worth paying that much interest.
As for the 0% interest they promised you, this only works if you close the entire amount between the 25th and the 10th.not to mention the $1 a month SMS fee and the credit card yearly fee.
sorry if it's out of topic, but just a question that came to my mind after being here, what is the best Internet card in lebanon in terms of lowest fees and lowest minimum deposit ? any idea about IBL Internet card ?
