Any recommended low budget phone?

looks good, but is the price difference worth it compared to huawei ?

i havent used any huawei, but for a 300$ phone, xperia x is perfect

Both phones have an appealing outside with aluminum finish. The spec sheets aren't very different.

The only difference I noticed is that GR5 comes with Android 6.0. I'm not sure whether it can be updated to Android 7.0.

Definetly go with the Lenovo Vibe P2

Battery will last 4 days. (5100 - best in the market)
Fast charging (1.5 hours full charge)
6 GB RAM (if not mistaken - not ios but still pretty fast)

Cost right within your budget.

Not available locally, but since your friend's phone is still kicking, i guess you can wait a month or so
