That's impossible because you need the health certificate (شهادة صحية) which costs 40-50 thou by itself, let alone the other documents and the fee at nef3a. i would say it could cost in total between 70-90 thou if you do it by yourself.

No actually the 125 thou fee from OMT includes everything. They will get u all the docs including health certificate and legal record. Of course it's better to do it by yourself if you have time but i've seen way worse rip-offs than this.

How would OMT take your finger prints? I have the old driving license still valid but I'm thinking to renew now and take the new one. Can it all be done through OMT or would i have to go at some point myself to fingerprint?

This made me chuckle, how would they get you a health certificate Isn't it supposed to be the other way around.
Sadly I won't be surprised if this is true(I mean getting a license without proper docs), one should expect anything here.

What you can do is go to nef3a and tell them that you lost it. If you handle it by yourself if should cost you about 100,000 (40000 for the new card and the rest are paperwork and stuff like that). The validity would be the same as your original driver's licence. So it your current licence lasts till 2050, a new card (giving that u tell them that your's is stolen) you also expire in 2050.
There's word that the new driver's licence working internationally since it's translated. But i'm not 100% sure.

Yea but that's only if u never had a licence before. If you already have one and you lost it, they give you one with the same validity. You are replacing an old one not applying for a new one.

Mine was issued in 2013 and it expires in 2023.

Weird. Perhaps the 10 years one is less expensive option and I got scammed by the driving bureau.
But again All of my friends(same age) have theirs for 10 years?

And rolf yeah the test is still the same.
That's why I'm skeptical about the international validity topic, it's not a matter of "translation", but more of they don't trust our licenses.
