Locha Hello there. I know that some data is valuable for any person and it is important to store it and back it up properly. I would like to know from the community here the technology and the hardware being used for such a purpose on a personal level. Manually backing it up? Using a NAS? What do you advise? Thanks.
Hybrid PC External Hardisk Auto sync on cloud. The cloud consists of an encrypted server + encrypted owncloud installation Monthly Encrypted backup server for the cloud (different provider) Unfortunately #3 and #4 are not for free, but I don't like losing my stuff.
tech-guru I am using an external 4 TB usb 3.0 HD Drive , and I mirror each drive alone to it using Windows 10 backup tools and also I create a USB recovery , it is time consuming but I think it is a secure method in cause something happened. For Origin EA Games I copy paste the games folders to it and in case of Steam the backup option in steam.
Jerome Manual backups, on external hard drives. I move around often, so NAS won't do for me. Cloud is near impossible with your average internet connection.
