Hey all, I have a 2017 Acer F7 laptop. It has a bad gtaphics card, can I plug an external GPU onto it?
I don't this is feasible, first there is nothing on the internet that says this model supports that, also connecting an external gpu will require a high bandwidth connector like typec usb3.1 or thunderbolt3 or exposed pcie
You need usb type c or thunderbolt.
Alienware and Razer did it.

At Least Thunder Bolt 3 (32Gbps) is required to attain the maximum bandwidth while using an eGPU , USB 3.1 tips around 10Gbps knowing that the internal pci-express gen 3 has a bandwidth of 126 Gbps. This is a thorough article showing the performance drop between using an eGPU and a regular one.
