infiniteloop wroteI have a Bachelor in Business from LAU, in my 30s, I had a job for several years but the company where I used to work closed 1 year ago and since then it's hell for me to find a job. Do you think doing an MBA at USJ for example will help me find a job or I will loose my time?
Many people are telling me, at my age and with good diplomas nobody will take me because they are afraid I will ask a high salary, I think it's already one of the reason they are not interested by me but they prefer younger people who won't ask for ''high'' salaries. In a normal country I would have done an MBA but here...better put that money for my own business no?
Here Are Key Hints ,
Currently The Too Accredited Business Schools in Lebanon are AUB / LAU -Accreditation Commission for Conformity Assessment Bodies (ACCAB) - Which Is a very prestigious worldly recognized accreditation (Only 182 Business Schools around the world hold it).
What is your job domain /title/indusry , it is sad to hear that you have gave couple of years of experience and a Bachelor from LAU with no opportunities yet for a qualified person like you. In you case a professional certification will help you more than an MBA - depending on your job line:
Accounting / Finance : CMA , CFA , ACCA , CPA
Audit: CIA
Projects: PMP
Etc...

A professional certification from a recognized international body with a specialization for much more added value for experienced people than an academic degree. I need an MBA an LAU - the reason I did was a scholarship given to me due to my scholastic achievement , which was a key motivator.
