Dear all,
My computer for the past week has been running the cmd prompt on its own every hour interval and closes after one second and is disturbing me (if I'm on steam it will minimize it, if I watch Netflix it will also minimize it). I downloaded Camtasia to see what that cmd prompt is because it appears and closes very fast. It turned out to say:
System32/ieunatt.exe
I searched my computer and found it as an application. Can I delete it and will that solve the problem? It's really annoying me. I have a financial modeling exam soon and the flash drive they put on my laptop monitors my activity and they said if any program attempts to open while I am working they will disqualify me. Can anyone please help?
EDIT: I am running windows 10

I have the same issue happening, would like to know a solution for this also.

Guessing you're running Windows 7 or older? That's the InternetExplorerUnattended Installer. It's trying to patch your IE.

There is a task scheduler in Windows.
I guess that's what it uses to launch itself at a regular interval. Maybe you can disable it there.
For the flash drive thing that is ridiculous.

@Ballad: Try installing the new windows 10 update 1703, it appears to have disappeared after I did.
@beezer: Surprisingly I am running windows 10! I was tripped out to find that I have I.E explorer on my laptop!
@rolf: Nothing in task scheduler pertains to it, but after I installed the new windows update it has disappeared (for now).
