haidcar today Nvidia Announced the GTX 1080ti. while the card is impressive, I believe this is what the GTX 1080 should have been. I made a short article about the 1080ti you can find it at: http://omelet2fromage.com/why_gtx_1080_ti_so_late/
anayman_k7 The GTX 1080Ti is mainly a 95% a TitanXP with 11GB of VRAM with 11GBPS speed and it costs 700$ * Titan X (Pascal) owners who paid 1200$ * GTX 1080 owners who paid 700$ (which got a 100$ price reduction) * Also current GTX 1060 and GTX 1080 will get a VRAM speed boost, so owners of GTX 1060 including me Apparently Nvidia is scared of AMD Vega and after the big launch of Ryzen they expecting that Vega will pack a punch and compete so they are preparing early, the consumer is the winner.
haidcar 1080ti should be faster than TitanXP, same cuda cores, faster clocks. just smaller memory bus, hance the 11GB. its actually 12GB segmented into fast 11GB and slower 1GB. they don't want to pull 970 all over again so they went with the 11GB.
