  • Looking for a decent android tablet

Hello All,
I've been looking for a fast and reliable android tablet to use on my DJI drones. Looking for something in the same specs as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.
Minimum requirements: Cpu octa core 1.7GHz, 3GB Rams, 9.7 or 8 inch 2K screen, SD card expansion, GPS, Android 6.
Can anyone suggest a place that has a tablet with these specs or higher?
I cannot seem to find a new Tab S2 anywhere for a good price. The latest ASUS Zenpads have such specs but again, not available in this coountry. All the tabs I saw are weak in processing power and Ram.
Any pointers?
If not then I will find myself having to spend an arm and a leg for an iPad Mini4 or Air2... Which I'd rather not do :P
Thank you kindly.
Not long ago I met someone who showed me their Lenovo Android tablet - the pretty cool thing is that it had an integrated projector! I found that pretty cool and useful. It is not too expensive either. I forgot the specifics, though.
Thanks for replying Rolf, I already took a look at Lenovo's offerings and they were all low specced, the best one had 2GB of Rams and around $300.
I think the Mini 4 and Air 2 are in the 350$ range so I don't understand why you don't just grab one, Android tablets really aren't that good even a Fandroid would tell you that
Well because ipads mini4 and air2 do not have a GPS chip. For drones you need GPS so you must buy the LTE versions of Ipads to get GPS. That is a $100 more. And 16GB of storage is not enough. You need at least 32 or 64 which puts you in the 500-600 dollars range. Now you understand why i just don't grab one?
Thanks for replying.

I was unaware that it didn't have GPS, that's surprising. For what it's worth the base storage is now 32GB even on the older Air 2.
Yep that's the thing with Apple... The least features for more the money lol!
The base storage for the Mini4 is still 16GB!!!
My choice would be an Ipad Mini 4 32GB with LTE, and this is priced around $450 in Lebanon...
Again, thanks for replying!
Yes exactly cos i came across a 16GB model with 4G for $400. The 32GB model with 4G would be fine. Any idea where i could get a good price for one? Thanks!
