anayman_k7 The short story is that I was building a new PC for a friend, the parts (related to display) are: * LG 22MP48HQ Wide 22" LED LED IPS Full HD (VGA, HDMI) * Zotac ZT-P10610A-10L GeForce GTX 1060 Mini 3GB GDDR5 * MSI B150M Gaming Pro (DDR4) USB 3.1 The connection used is a HDMI 1.3 Cable Prior to installing Nvidia drivers all was good, as soon as the driver was installed (during the installation screen flicker) the screen turned black! I booted in safe mode and removed the drivers and tried a different version, no luck. Then I tried to connect the PC with a TV and it worked fine, then tried to connect the monitor with a laptop using HDMI and also worked! Currently when connecting the PC to the Monitor it displays the picture but it keeps turning On/Off. What is the possible reasons of this issue? Note: We are going to buy a HDMI 2.0 cable and test with it Edit: It worked with the expensive HDMI cable!

Brave_Heart no idea it is a wearied thing. i faced a problem when i was installing gtx 1070. the windows stopped booting up and the pc was stuck at the motherboard page only.i searched it was that i have to update bios, so did this and everything went fine. i say try upgrading bios maybe it will solve the issue
anayman_k7 It worked after getting a new HDMI cable, the previous one was also new but 1.3, the new one has no labels but advertised as 4k so it should be HDMI 2.0

anayman_k7 Just for the fun, I'll tell you a very funny situation happened while getting a new HDMI cable from Macrotronics (which is supposed to be a reputable store). I told the guy there about my problem (because I got the HDMI 1.3 which caused the problem from their store) and I asked him for a HDMI 2.0 cable because I think this is the solution, he had another opinion, he said that such a graphic card requires a stronger monitor (in Lebanese: "baddak sheshe 2a2wa"), I was like WHAT! What is your definition of stronger monitor? He said: 38" or more!!!!!! Can you imagine ladies and gentlemen!
