Locha Hello there, What do you advise in terms of an Android phone in the range of 400$ ~ 500$ ? What about the comparison between Samsung S7 and LG G5 ? I was also looking for OnePlus 3T on AliExpress but was a bit hesitant due to the lack of support as well as the customs here. Any clues? Best regards,
Salloum If you decide on the 3T (which you should) you can use Phonefinity's concierge service. You'll pay the phone's price +20% and you wont have to worry about customs or shipping or anything. It would still be within your range I believe. The 3T is the best Android phone out. Details: http://www.phonefinity.net/concierge
Georges00 Don't get an LG phone. They will get stuck into a boot loop eventually. I recently sold my Note 5 and got a Huawei P9 lite for 230$. Amazing phone!
xazbrat If you want the Oneplus 3T, check this thread https://lebgeeks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=17275
Xsever I had an LG G3 and was looking into buying a new smartphone this past October. My choice was either the LG G5 or the Samsung Galaxy S7. Then I dropped the G3 and the screen developed some touch issues although it did not break or shatter or anything. Long story short, LG did not have a replacement screen at the beginning then they did but wanted $180 for it while the phone was worth that much. The local shops offerings for screens were at $80 and still the quality was questionable. In all cases, I ended up changing the screen for $80 and selling it. I then bought the Galaxy S7 and couldn't be happier since then. Amazing battery life, better support/warranty through CTC, amazing camera, wide array of custom ROMs, etc... I paid $560 for it in October including a screen protector and a slim case.
LifeEngineer Yeah i did for like 5 times for me and my friends! He's a great guy! Never needed his services though since all the phones were sealed and perfect, no issues whatsoever!
Salloum Locha wroteThanks guys for the feedback. Did anyone try before the services of Phonefinity ? Thanks. To be honest the best place to buy a phone in Lebanon, Mohamad is very friendly and honest and will address any issue if you should happen to have one. Highly recommended.

Draguen Had two g3, both under warranty and both went into bootloop. Sending them to the customer care only postponed thr inevitable for a couple of months.

Actually my question was just out of curiosity because it is uncommon that someone switches from a 600$ phone to a a 200$ phone. So i wanted to know what was the purpose behind that and how do you evaluate the 2 phones and compare them to each other

Not really.... for 200-250$? You might be able to get a good build quality, but performance will usually be subpar due to the SoCs used in these devices. And the camera will definitely not have a decent enough aperture for low-light shooting. I'd rather have a 2014 flagship than a new low to mid ranger.
