Seagate and Maxtor external HDD?

So my 1 year old 1Tb WD mypasseport Ultra is already full and I am searching for a new 1tb external HDD or used 2tb one.
Microcity has a nice offer on the Seagate Expansion 1tb usb 3.0 at 59$ only, though how reliable are the Seagate external HDDs?
I will put my Raw photos as well as movies so I don't want to lose them after a couple of months

i recommend getting a NAS and moving all your files there. are your a professional photographer?

I have some adults stuff I don't want that people see them over the network ;)

There is a dude selling Maxtor 2Tb on olx (new) for a good price, he said there is a warranty but which Lebanese company is the Wakil just in case?
