If you watch youtube videos from CES 2017 you will see that Samsung is gonna release a new line of TVs called Qled (Q for quantum dots), though it's not clear if it will totally replace the SUHD line or it will be a VIP line for series 8 and 9 and SUHD will be in series 6 and 7, meaning no more ''ordinary'' UHD.
Qled is supposed to be as good or better than LG Oled TVs
I'm skeptical to be honest, I don't think it will be better or even as good as oled. Maybe a CHEAPER alternative that is ALMOST as good, and there is nothing wrong with that!
but I may be wrong...guess I will have to wait and see
I just hope they will keep the SUHD line so it will be much cheaper in 2017 compared to 2016, it was about 880$ for the 50js7200 which is a 2015 SUHD model, if Qled is the new high standard of samsung then SUHD prices will fall
yea you have point, might get yourself a great bargain there

Samsung reached with this new Quantum dot line (I guess they improved this tech) a full color range and even a higher back light. Everything seems to be promising, Samy;s Oled displays are my favorite too bad that it is only available on mobiles. Hope that Qled would be even better.
(currently not happy at all from my high end LG recently purchased tv )
If you are willing to buy a tv . My advice to you is to wait a little bit. there is plenty of new tech and codecs around the corner.
Yep, and I don't recommend KU7000 TVs either, made in Egypt which is ''chtri ou kebb'' and even the US model has lot of problems like screen bleeding and horizontal pink lines.
SUHD models until now are much better and not made in Egypt but dunno why CTC is not bringing many 50'' models, it's either 40 or monster 60ish ones

I had the same problem I had to change the whole furniture in order to go with a 65inches tv. lol
had some wood work in order to replace my old 55.

Well I was in a dilemma in christmas vacation to chose between a 55 inch KU 7000 for USD 1000 and a SUHD the KS 8000 for 2000 USD. I picked the KU with a wall mount for 1000 USD , for the price and what it offers (HDR processing , 2160p , ... ) it is a good overall tv tested some HDR gaming on the PS4 Pro the input lag in HDR Gaming mode ~ 20 ms which is good too. From my testing since 2 months it is a good overall tv for a very good price. No regrets.

Bro all recent TVs from all brands are "chtri ou kebb" higher specs with zero quality.
Hisense beleive it or not got my respect:D
