lebanesegeek_1 wroteHey guys, I have a core I7 2600 CPU and I am thinking about upgrading my system with a GTX 1070 GPU.
As I researched and asked they told me for full graphical performance I need a 4K monitor is that correct? And does my PC handle the 1070?
Thank you
Sweet Spot of the 1070 is 1440p you can game at 2160p, thanks to the 8 GB Vram buffer , but you need to dail down setting to high without AA you will hover between 40 - 55 fps. Getting a 4k Gsync monitor like
ASUS ROG Swift PG27AQ Gaming Monitor - 27" 4K UHD (3840x2160), IPS, G-SYNC™. Will make the experience better since Refresh Rate is Sync. With every frame on the screen thanks to Gsync.
Keeping in mind that some really demanding AAA titles like Watch Dogs 2 , Assassin Creed Syndicate , Dues Ex: Human Kind Divided , Dishonored 2 , Quantum Break can barely hit 60 fps on 1080p even most of the time lower than that. By today standards 1070 is a mid-high graphic card still for 60fps 2160p a Pascal Titan X is highled recommended.
