Dear Geeks,
I have been recently assigned the task (I volunteered actually) to help assist one of our Lebanese taxi firms on creating an attractive and differentiated social media strategy for marketing. While I have done a lot of social makreting in my career, the industry was never for such a service. I would like to know, if you were responsible for their social media strategy, what kind of content would you have on your content calender.
For example, on Facebook you would dedicate a category of holiday posts and promotions, another post may be about a new loyalty program etc.
Any ideas would be massive help!!
Thank you
rolf
I think more details are needed. "social strategy for marketing taxi firms" is a bit vague in the sense that it's all about what and how (social strategy for marketing) but sketchy info about the subject - company, values, image, goals, etc.

Hey, I'm not sure i completely grasped what you're asking, but for me a taxi company should emphasise on the following points :
Trust, trust that your driver is not a weirdo since 1995.
Quality of the car, you will ride in a taxi and not a service with no functioning seatbelts, also since 1995
Price, it should be acceptable market price, with maybe an added value of 1000 or 2000 per ride as to guarantee the above.
That's my personal opinion though, i suppose that what's important for me might differ from person to person.
In my opinion, instead of calling the taxi company "trust taxi" or something, why not do a marketing campaign arround the drivers?
For instance having a Facebook post about "Elie" father of 3, proudly driving with the taxi company since 2001 ect.

The most important thing for me when ordering a taxi is how long it would take for the car to arrive. Make of that as you will
