I'm currently being called by phone occasionally by a company which rely and operate on PC'S and networks for their data creation and management, to do maintenance and IT work, I'm logging in my hours, if anyone have done this kind of work before, how much should I charge per hour? I'm doing various stuff like formating, fixing network problems, fixing issues related to a program, installing their business programs, fixing that Bios issue, assembling that pc, fixing a printer issue, on all kind of operating systems, the list goes on. Basically anything that relates to their workplace PC'S, I'm expected to know and fix if a problem arise. I even crack some of their high priced programs.
I don't want to sell myself cheap on this because it takes from my daily time, I also don't want to sound over-priced.
How much should I charge per hour? This is "IT" work.
MrClass
25$ per hour is fair basic IT work
When it comes to backend system administration, you could charge up to 500$ per day, which is 62.5$ per hour
