AVOlio Guys, I have a i7-2600 running @3.8Ghz. I recently installed a corsair hydro h110i liquid cooler. I'm getting idle Temps at 35-39. Is that normal? I have a friend that has the h110i gtx, and his Temps are between 20-30, he has a i7-6700k. Is it cpu related, possibly the Sandy bridge runs hotter because it's older?
Satfoun I have a i7 4790K, and an aircooler, thermaltake Frio extreme, and my idle temps are 25-28, so maybe yes, it is Cpu related.

MrClass Avolio that series of CPUs are known to run hot. thats why the ivy bridge series was famous for solving the heating issues the sandy bridge series had
