first thank you for help. GTX 950 is good. i dont know i have an access to amazon, and it can ship directly to me in Kuwait. i saw this GTX 1060 https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-Compact-Graphics-ZT-P10610A-10L/dp/B01KKJAJM4/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1476182476&sr=1-3&keywords=gtx+1050&refinements=p_n_shipping_option-bin%3A3242350011
it will cost me 220$ including shipping. and the GTX 950 will cost around 175$. i go back to the same scenario that i dont want to pay this amount. no idea what to do
What is the amount you are ready to pay?
anayman_k7 wroteWhat is the amount you are ready to pay?

Wow, hold your horses, thats a very hard to find, if you have Paypal you can go look on ebay
I tried to look at Amazon Warehouse Deals of used items, 970 cheapeset one is 190$, so you need to lower your needs for the ~150$, go for 750Ti or 950 or check if you can find a RX 460

haha bro the GTX 1060 3gb is 200$ in give a better performance than the 970, so the fair price for 970 used is 100$ logically speaking. since used products are half the price of the new. no one will buy a new 970 now since it became obsolete. on the other hand gtx 980 perform nearly equal to gtx 1070 the price of gtx 1070 now is in the range of 400 to 450. you are right about Gtx 980 150$ is low for it :P but this is what i am willing to pay :D haha at the end the guys who changed there 970 or 980 and keeping it as a decor in there home. it will be better for them if they sell it. 150$ in the pocket better than 970 or 980 on the shelve

logically speaking yes, reality nope.
I have an ASUS STRIX GTX980, paid 700$, of course i would not sell it for 150$, Thats absurd. And thiis goes the saame
Am prettys sure you wont find such a deal. Get a 1060, thats the cheapest thing, or buy one of those AMD 400 series
i got iphone 4S for 800$ when i changed to 5S the gave me 300$ for it. i said no and i kept it. now it is a useless piece of junk. if i want to sell it it will be for 100$. i lost 300$. hay guys welcome to technological world. when you buy something related to technology you are buying usage time until something new replace it. even though Satfoun you payed 700$, but you used it and according to the market and the newer technology available this is a relatively fair price.

The 980Ti and not the 980 performs nearly to the 1070 (In Direct x 11 Games) & Pascal Excels in A Sync. Compute in Direct X 12 Games. 1060 ~ 980 but reality speaking both No , since a newer architecture always have better all around positive increments. So reality speaking " 970 " , "980" and "980Ti" are obsolete since Pascal offers same or better performance at similar prices , therefore a logical person will pick a new generation & not an old one. A rule of thumb, as I did with my old 970, I sell the graphic card 2 months before the release of a new generation as such I sold the 970 @ 250 USD before the release of the 1070 and when the 1070 popped up I added 350 to 250 & I got it immediately upon release. Otherwise , 120 USD will be the max price if Iam going to sell now with the existence of the 1060. Similar strategy I followed with the PS4 & TV. In the tech world you cannot put a selling price based on how much you got the item , since a new generation = drop off of price of previous generation + hard to sell of previous generation + 2nd hand depreciation cost so I always try to eliminate the two factors in this equation by selling the item before the release date of the new generation ( 1 or 2 months).

thank you Tech Guru for the detailed addition. this is what i was saying in details. on the second hand i don't need the GPU for my primer PC. thats why i am not will to pay for a new good one. that why i am willing to accept obsolete version. my main goal is to use it to play BF4 on max setting which any 970 or 980 can do.
OMG ya kidding me right? You dont need 980 to play BF4 maxed out haha. My Strix 980, the usage is low and the fans barely spin when playing BF4. i mean, a 950 would be perfect to play BF4 i guess gaga
BFHardline is heavier than BF4 of course. I mean u can always turn off the AA and ti should work great i suppose
Or get 960, oh wait your budget right.
By the way give me your battlelog id or origin id, might teach you a lesson or two in BF4 haha
