It is still cool that we are monitoring the news but the main attraction is the buyandsell topics and the horrible internet providers topic... still better than gossiping XD

These posts were created to reduce the amount of Buy, Sell and ISP topics that were flooding the forum back then. They should not be considered mutually exclusive with other unrelated topics that serve the intellectual desire of members.

Honestly, forum lacks posts about innovation or at least programming... only games, buy, sell, internet quality.

the internet is full of programming forums, we discuss here the things that are exclusive for us as Lebanese geeks, I'm sure not coming here to ask about a bug in my code, there's stackoverflow for that.

Disagree, local professional communities interact much better, than stackoverflow.
At least on my questions, stackoverflow often much worse, and i prefer to ask in russian, local forums, because guys there can spend much more time and often give advices on whole thing with all pitfalls, and on places like stackoverflow i might get only short as possible answer that cover only one specific question.
For example, when i was designing ATS for switching power sources, and had question about capacitors value to hold DC voltage specific time according server PSU specification, in fact on some large source i got unverifiable answers (and some of them was plainly wrong), but on small forum i got exact references to specs and also they pointed me to big danger, after i explained whole thing - that in country like Lebanon and outside things quite different, that each source will have 180 degree phase difference, and voltage difference ~620V, and it needs totally different values of semiconductors i planned.
