hey guys, so i've been suffering from IDM's constant throttling of my 2mbps 50gb speed (except for night time), along with quite bad ping to Europe (150-200)
so I'm okay with downloading just at night (since i almost get my full speeds and its unlimited) however the ping is still really bad
i was looking into buying a 4g router and subscribing to a 10gb per month plan, whilst also keeping my subscription with IDM, that way i can use the IDM connection for downloads and the 4G connection for online gaming (since I've heard ping is good on those)
i just need advice on this if its a good idea and approximately how much it will cost.
thanks!
I tried a hotspot from my phone to my pc and got a ping between 80 and 110 on cs go but it's not playable due to packet loss and sudden spikes, there's a ping spike every 3 or 4 seconds which makes it unplayable, I had 4/5 bars signal on 4G

It would be interesting to try using a 4g router since it will get you better signal and maybe better ping
