ironman wrotewhat about turning the wireless off on Ogero's modem, getting a TP link that can support such features, and use it for everything you need (this will be the easiest way at the moment)
or you can get a new modem, configure it, clone the mac address and input all the parameters and connect

Already tried doing that with the tp-link router i had back with the cable guy . I turned off DHCP and set it up , but it seems it doesn't support bandwith throttling when the connection comes from a LAN port , only from a WAN port

I"ll try looking into the mikrotik router solution , I"ll see if i can set it up myself and if it's the best solution
