I wanna buy a 1070 for my system which one is good for gaming? there's a lot of brands out there and different versions. im not looking for rgb or any of that i want performance in games. and thats all
They are all the same (seriously, Nvidia prints the base card, and gives it to the manufacturers basically to add fans and the power connectors) So which one to get depends on your priorities. Me personally, I bought today the Asus 1070 dual, why? Because it was 24 cm in length which will fit in my case, other ones wouldn't fit in my case. If you want to overclock and have space in your case, you would try to find something with 3 fans and maybe 2 power connectors instead of one.

If you just want to use the cards normally, any card will be as good as any other(I think) I got the 1070 to play games in full HD, heh it was too much overkill, way too much overkill. I was playing shadow of mordor on ultra with all the bells and whistles and the card was running at only 40% its capacity, clocked down at 1000 mhz, and doing 60fps. It handled the game as if it was solitaire. The 1070 is a beast.
The Zotac Amp Edition is boosted enough and has a sweet price (for Lebanon)
No need for MSI and Asus expensive gaming versions
I will go with MSI Gaming X or Asus Strix X or G1 Gaming

Zotac Amp Edition has a high probably to swag in your system , and not durable on the long run as as the above three brands.

They're all the same, and by the time the capacitors go bad it'd already be so outdated that low-end iGPUs would be as good as it.
The Zotac AMP edition is a great card, but I was one of the unlucky few that got one with a loose cooler or badly applied thermal paste. It seems as though a handful of people around the internet faced very similar issues to me, and Zotac reps asked them to RMA. I will be contacting pcandparts tomorrow about the issue, hopefully the process will go smoothly.
Here i am, sitting with ma ASUS STRIX GTX980 haha. I would always pick ASUS, because i love them. Why? Because i hate MSI. Why? Because everyone loves MSI
Is Zotac usually fixing this kind of hardware problems with newer batches or not?
I wonder if by Christmas it will be fixed, for the price of a Zotac (gaming) Amp Edition you get a single fan basic card at MSI
Sure I suggest any of the three Brands Asus, MSI, Gigabyte and not Zotac, i had a really bad experience with Zotac Products
i didnt bought any of their graphics card, but while i was in dubai i bought a Zotac Mini PC and it didnt Last for two days
i had a lot of difficulties to reach zotac customer support
STAY AWAY From Zotac Products
For Zotac, their cards have a very solid build quality. It has been reported in many reviews that they have the best cooling for their 10 series cards. In most cases it turbo boosts to ~2100mhz at around 70C which is insane.

I was unlucky and got a card with a faulty cooler, but this is why warranties exists.

I red some same reports at newegg, though it's perhaps 1 customer over 1000
Btw I noticed year after year that even with big names brands you have great chances to get a defect, mass Chinese production without proper quality control...

Every single brand has faulty graphics card.

I've had faulty parts in the past from big names. Few friends had faulty MSI/Gigabyte GTX 980s.

Always make sure to get a warranty.
Go the best for the price currently in the market which is the Zotac AMP at pcandparts, yes Zotac is not considered a top manufacturer in our market but for 465$ (without TVA) and 3 years of warranty, I'll be more than happy to feel safe for 3 years of usage of this card.
