Hello there;

I need your opinion and recommendation on which peripherals (Being Gaming Keyboard, Mouse, and Headset) I should get (as I'm going to get paid soon).

Someone pointed out these ones:
Keyboard
Mouse
Headset

What do you think of these ones? and which ones you got?
And finally, which ones you recommend me getting?

P.S. I prefer mechanical keyboard.
(Please only recommend gaming gear, no office or regular peripherals)

Thanks in advance.
Hey mohzz ,

What types games do you mostly play ? ( MOBA , FPS , MMO ) Knowing that would help recommend the right gaming peripherials , as some are designed for MOBAs ( alot of extra buttons & shortcut keys ) and some are designed for FPSs ( 1-2 side buttons only with mouse shapes designed for different grips )

As for the headset , i recommend the HyperX Cloud 1 & 2 , they can both be found on pcandparts.com
Hey OdeToDeath;

Thanks for your reply.

Well, I kind of play most genre's. I like variety so I play MOBA's, FPS's, and recently MMO's among various other genre's.

It would be nice if you could post what you do recommend for each type and I can check them and pick one out. :)
I recommend the HyperX Cloud II for a headset. Best performance for the buck
I am coming from A4Tech than Razor Widow X and Razor Mamba , After reading a lot of reviews on Tech YouTube Channels and Tech Websites , I went the Corsair K70 LUX RGB - MX Brown Switches (the LUX is an enhanced new edition of the K70 RGB) and the Logitech G900 Spectrum Chaos , both have a very premium quality and reliable from the switches , build materials , and performance.

Not available in Leb , and actually thanks for MrClass for his favor and shipping them for me from UAE. Razor quality and switches durability is incomparable to Corsair build K70s and the Logitech G900 is top end. Worth the investment.

For the Headsets I will go for another premium peripheral: Astro A50; Astros are used in MLG (Major League Gaming) Tournaments.

To me an an enthusiast gaming peripherals add to the overall gaming experience, and paying some how high as an initial investment for a keyboard or a mouse or a headset for a premium product will be advantageous on the long run (no broken switches , dead leds, etc..)

The gear Tech Guru & MrClass proposed is top notch , but let's be realistic , you probably cannot wait for shipping from outside leb and want some gear already available here .

So ,HyperX Cloud2 Headset , that MrClass and I proposed , should be available in most stores at around 80 $ .

For the mouse , try to stay away from MOBA mouses because you also play FPSs , the extra buttons may be annoying . Here are the best mouses you can find in lebanon :

You've got the Razer mices ( deathadder , ouroboros ) available in most stores with prices averaging 70 to 100 $ , I personally do not like razer as alot of their products suffer from flimsy build quality .

Go for steelseries or zowie mouses if you can , those are top notch but are only available in 2 places in lebanon ( as far as i know ) which are the net caffes Ground Zero and Spotnet , both close to Hamra .

For the keyboard , if you can get your hands on a K70 ( same as TechGuru's for less than 170 $ , then get it ASAP . The K70 is very popular and barely available in most stores in lebanon . 2nd choice are Razer mechanical keyboards if you can't find any K70 , price should be around 90 to 150 $ on pcandparts

Pcandparts has added a whole lot of Roccat products on their website weeks ago , you may want to check them out also .

Here are the reference websites for the places i mentionned :

Pcandparts : http://pcandparts.com/drives.htm
Ground Zero : http://www.groundzeronet.com/products/
Spotnet : https://spotnet.com.lb

I actually have the Zowie Ec2-a , a decent A4-tech keyboard ( never liked mechanical ) and a HyperX Cloud 2

Good luck with your choice
Actually PC&Parts has listed today in the HOT-DEALS Section:

Corsair CH-9101014-NA RGB RAPIDFIRE Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Cherry MX Speed RGB Link
For only $197.00

http://www.corsair.com/en/k70-rgb-rapidfire-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-cherry-mx-speed-rgb-na

197*1.1 = 217 USD including VAT (when the weekly deal is over expect a higher price)

It worth it for the build quality and German MX Switches , but personally for me I prefer either MX Brown Switches or Blue Switches that which are not Linear like Reds , they are tactile switches provide, as the name suggests, additional tactile feedback as the key actuates. As you pres s the key down, there is a noticeable bump which lets you know that your key press has been registered. Therefore, less typo errors. The rapid fire has 1.2mm actuation point without any tactile feedback which makes it troublesome while typing , since the switches are very fast/sensitive. I like more balanced keys for a premium mechanical keyboard (gaming/typing) for that reason I went with the K70 LUX MX Browns but both K70 LUX and RapidFire share the newest updates and looks:

Aluminum plate
Dedicated Media Keys
Updated Light Controller (16.8 Million Colors) / old one K70 RGB and the K95 arenot capable of 16.8 million colors without flickering so the new ones can handle the 16.9 instead of 512 colors.
Added USB Pass-through
Bigger Letters / More Light / Brightness from the Key Caps.
