Glad to hear that.Currently considering buying a new line and proceeding with the project. Still not sure about the added value VS price that I'm willing to pay.
It is mostly based on a PCC (per connection classifier), it is a kind of loadbalance, but it works, downloads were coming from both lines.
Based on my experience with cisco's routers their were 2 types of Load balancing( based on tcp connections and on sessions). I guess what you call pcc is the same as tcp connections and this may result in broken websites.

Thank you I'll keep you posted in my case

makhoder wroteI did it already with a mikrotik router, I bond a 6-8mbps and a 2mbps unlimited connection. It reached 9-10mbps maximum. Just forced to both to be in diferent gateways.
Can i know what is required and from where i can get such a modem?
I did using https://routerboard.com/rb750gl , both lines were set to bridge in the modem and PPPoE was dialed in the Mikrotik. You can find several tutorials in the internet.
Also the router costed me around 50 dollars outside Lebanon.
Thank you ill work on it and keep you posted
How does this work in lebanon?
Legally you can only get one dsl line to your house, right?

This is the second time I hear such thing. I asked my ISP if they do mind linking 2 dsl lines for my house. For him it wasn't an issue.

I was wondering about this---if you got a second phone line at home, could you get DSL on that line from another carrier or do they use your address to make sure you only have 1 line (maybe for business, it may be different). I guess if you had extended family or very close friends live in a few apartments in the same building, you may be able to get a few lines legally and try to get a better connection that way.

Also, wondering if this would work if you could use an 'ishtirak' line. I only get max 1 meg speed on ogero DSL, but there is an ishtirak guy offering 3x that speed for 50,000 nearby (30 gig limit)---could I use both of those and get a 4 meg connection? Would just make sure downloading took place on the dsl line of course.

You know that is actually funny. I cannot see anyone refusing your money because you are only allowed one DSL line.
Is Lebanon turning into a communist country or what?
you have to have another phone line i guess in order to install another dsl line. I am now planning to combine a local cable service with DSL.
Just applied for a new line. Apparently, it is hard but not impossible to get 2 lines for the same house it should be a longer procedure.

and how are you going to the aggregation?
So far i have no idea. Once the 2nd dsl line is installed I'll do some labs and keep you posted.
I've chosen idm as a second ISP ( making the worst case scenario (2 different ISPs)).

Well I started this project hoping to bond the dsl lines. ended by using speedify. since the cost is much less than configuring my desktop with a remote virtual server.
Silentcontrol wrotei'm interested in the results keep us updated
speedify is combining both connections with full speed. it is actually opening a vpn connectivity to a server that you select. and the software is bonding all internet connections from both ends. Not bad at all.
Guys, did anyone try this?
If you have 2 DSL connections, one is a fast 8mbps line (for example) and then you have the unlimited 2mbps line.
You get the username and password of your ogero account and put the details of the unlimited 2mbps line in the 8bmps line, shouldn't that make it unlimited since the data being transferred is under the 2mbps ogero unlimited account?
Vice versa with the 2mbps DSL line
I got my friend's modem to my place (he's in mena el hosn) im in the mrayje one, I connected his modem and I got 2mbps speed but the details in the modem were still on my friend's 4mbps account and yet it connected.
