If the problem persisted , long press the shutdown button on your case and if it shuts downs (forced shutdown). Most probably , it is a corrupted windows (looped windows update , corrupted registry , corrupted MBR etc.. not a hardware issue. I will follow the repair method , did not solve the issue them force manual shutdown (after closing all the application and saving my work).
