Which would you guys pick? and why?
RX 470 8GB or RX 480 4GB
i wouldnt get the RX470 8GB. at 1080p only couple of games can hit the 4GB limit while using AA, tweaking a couple of settings will bring the vram to under 4GB. plus on the 470, you are most likly to hit the GPU limit and you would have to crank settings down before you do with VRAM. remember more VRAM doesn't mean better performance.

i'd recommend the 8GB RX480, non reference model. sapphire Nitro is good option.
I would also recommend the RX480 8GB model, but I have a small question, is the 480 available in Lebanon?
1440p = 3686400 pixels
1080p = 2073600 pixels
((3686400 - 2073600))/ (2073600) * 100 = 77.7 %In crease in Pixel Density , playing at High/Very High Settings with at least FXAA or 2xMsaa since 2k needs AA , and achieving 50-60 Fps with current AAA Titles and upcoming demanding ones such as (Mafia 3 , Watch Dos 2 etc..) I recommend to:
Go with at least a R10 480 8GB Vram (OC Non Reference)/ Not Available in Lebanon
Alternative: 1060 OC / None Reefrence
For Future Proofing as more demanding games are rolling in the near (Q3 2016 and 2017) and from my experience with my 1070 Gaming X on 1440p with AAA - High/Very High Settings
I recommend to go with a 1070 OC or with a 1080 OC (more proofing) , still 4k/60Fps is out of reach , the 1080 OC tips that on some titles but with dialing some settings know that as more demanding titles will role out no dialing = lower resolution = 1440p with AA. Vega / Volta might tip that on 2160p,
