We all know what brands we have on the local market, nevertheless what do you think of brands like Mushkin or Gskill ?
I suggest buying them from Veron Amberstill <Ram Breeder>, he's located east of Ironforge.

Get the Swift White Ram since they run faster than the regular Rams but sell for a little more gold (Around 10 gold if I remember correctly), you'll get a running speed of 100% instead of 60% with the old Rams.

Good luck!
PS: These are Alliance only Rams.

no brewfest ram? n00b
RAM Baladé is the best.
The brewfest Ram is seasonal sadly, it's hard to find.

As for Ram baladé, haha I completely agree.

Memory is memory, I don't give a damn what brand it is, if it's cheap and a color I like/that matches my build, I pick it up.

Die_Kapitan with the architecture of skylake ram can affect performance, if you have faster ram you will get faster performance it is not like with older architectures it did not make a difference with those.

Lobo do not worry about brands for now except if you are building enthusiasts/extreme build, get the brand that offers the speed that your mobo can use and is the cheapest.
Yeah check the timings.
Do Samsung produce RAM modules?
Generally RAMs either work or they don't - so don't worry.
I don't know about these brands, by the way.

It can affect performance for any generation, but I'm not willing to pay more for a marginal increase in performance (5FPS at most), especially in games I play.

Right now, the sweetspot for bandwidth/$ is 2666MHz, it's a bit more expensive than 2133MHz but substantially cheaper (relative to memory price) than 3000MHz memory. I'd pay the difference for 2666MHz, but no way I'd pay for more than that, plus, you can always get the cheapest kit that has a good heatsink and overlcock the memory, won't work but on Z series boards, but H and B series boards can only support 2133MHz memory, anyway.
Get this, discussion is over :P

HyperX Fury 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Desktop Memory Model HX424C15FBK2/16 for $79.00

People recommend Kingston because they are the only available brand around. G.skills or Corsair make excellent RAMs.
Crucial, corsair, G skill and Mushkin in my opinion these are the top brands for memory. Kingston is no match for these brands.
Anyone has a story of someone bought a HyperX Fury which broke after years of usage? I guess not. If you want another brands it will be only for the look or maybe some heat-sink with led lighting. Getting other brands in Lebanon will - most likely - cost you more for same specs offered by Kingston options in our market.
And ONLY in case you are using IGPU or some heavy memory usage applications there is not benefit, specially when using a dedicated GPU in a system u will see no difference at all.
Note: IGPU benefits from faster RAM but you only use IGPU in a budget system, it is not smart to buy a 3000mhz kit for that because you will have to pay more for a Z170 board, with this money you can get a much better dedicated graphic card

you remind me of the days back when we started playing wow , called my friend to check on him because he didn't attend school.
me: where are you bro ?
him: DALARAN
me*facepalm*

anw as for the RAM thing im rocking a double hyperx fury 16gb black pretty much affordable (HyperX Fury RAM 16 GB DDR4 - HX424C15FBK2/16 (Kit of 2)) for around 82 $
even tho i suggest corsair but you will barely find any difference between them performance wise. as for availability , you can find hyperx anywhere .
