I configured my Asus DSL-N55U Dual Band N600 Modem/Router at Ogero , which is great ADSL Wireless Modem Router (Far better than the Thomson ADSL Modem Routers' that Ogero Gives in Signal Strength , No Heating Issues, and Speed. In My room , I have I tested both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks , and I found the 5GHz more reliable and faster on my Galaxy S7 Edge. Room Usage , I am sticking with the 5Ghz , less interference and higher bandwidth. Any compared to the 2.4Ghz. I am looking to plug some 802.11 ac dongles for the PS4/Desktop for room usage ( the shortfall of range when shifting to 5Ghz is not an issue). What do you recommend any perdonal experience of shifting from 2.4 to 5 Ghz.

Same Question. Buying an AC adaptor is not going to do the trick. If you don't have to stream High quality movies or transfering big files over NAS. my recommendation is to remain with your current N wifi. AC sometimes can give you a 10 ms delay over lan
