I am aiming toward purchasing a good mechanical keyboard (durable , good switches , and good brightness levels) I limited my choice to :

Razer Blackwidow X Chroma RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (Chroma lighting) / In House Razor Green Switches
Razer Blackwidow Chroma RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (Chroma lighting) / In House Razor Green Switches
Corsair K70 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Cherry MX Red
Corsair K70 RGB / Rapid Fire Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Cherry MX Speed

From the Reviews:
Blackwidow X added a steal frame giving it a more premium looks , bumped switches as the K70 and the recent updated green switches , but no USB / Macro Keys as the Black Widow

As for the K70 Rapid Fire , 1.2mm mechanical actuation and durability of Gold contact Cherry MX Wield the ultimate performance Light operation 45g key switches and an actuation 40% faster than standard Cherry MX Red switches as Corsair claims. But some reviews (like AnandTech stated not major difference between the k70 and k70 Rapid fire , and they give the regular k70 recommendation in causal typing and not just gaming).

As for Corsair VS Razor:
Genuine German Made MX Switches for Corsair
In House Switches for Razor manufactured at their Chinese factories
Razor software is more user friendly and easy to handle compared to a heavy none user friendly Corsair has
Price Difference: ~ 160 - 170 USD for Black Widow / Widow X and 250-285 USD for the K70/K70 Rapid Fire
More Illumination/brightness on the Razor Side.

From your personal experience of both brands and maybe these keyboards owners/users of these keyboard types which one shall I chose.

Thank You
I am using the Corsair Strafe Cherry MX red, and i LUV it
And to be honest, i dont care at all about the lights, the keyboard is not about the lighting , its about its key switches
I'll vote for "Razer Blackwidow X Chroma RGB", on this level it feels like choosing between Ferrari and Lamborghini, both keyboards are better than good so I chose the cheaper that can be matched with another Chrome accessories in the future to sync some lighting :)
I have K70 RGB with Cherry MX Brown, for a year now, and can not be any happier with it. perfect for both gaming and typing.
Thank You ,

After thorough users' feedback and reviews on tech websites and and tech channels , I decided to go with:

K70 LUX RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard — Cherry MX RGB Red
http://www.corsair.com/en/k70-lux-rgb-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-cherry-mx-red-na

It is the same as the Rapid Fire , but instead of the Cherry MX Speed with 1.2mm mechanical actuation , it has the regular 2 mm actuation which I feel a balance for gaming/typing vs over keys' sensitives. It also fixes issues of the K70 RGB , since it took some updates from the new Strafe RGB such as: Has new controller for a more fluid lighting, USB Pass through and STRAFE RGB key-caps comparing it to the older K70 RGB, fixed the 16.8 million colors flickering issue on the K70 RGB.

I own a K70 and tried the Blackwidow numerous times

Not only does the K70 feel magnitudes better in build quality, its authentic Cherry MX keyswitches are satisfyingly clicky and none of them have shown any signs of degradation since i bought it (iv had it for 2 years)
I have the razor one (green not chroma) and I really love it.

But the best I've ever tried was the Noppo Choc Mini mechanical keyboard. It's just so smooth.
Is the k70 available in lebanon? I was just about to pull the trigger on a blackwidow x and while it is excellent i prefer the k70
Hey I might sell my Keyboard in case you need it. I have a K70 Red LED w Cherry MX Red Switches
