vegetaleb wroteWhen I was a child I never ever saw a single mosquito in Achrafieh but since the hundreds of crazy constructions sites begin to appear the mosquitoes appeared and more than in the mountain, they use the dirty water in the construction sites to reproduce, add to that of course the climate change that is bringing North African winds with insects to Lebanon.
As for me I no more running nose and headaches, the red rash is nearly gone :)
I think it's because I got a bacteria or something from my sunglasses + sun sweat + sauna sweat...or Zika lol
It depends really...
Mosquitos tend to be more abundant in humid areas.
This can be seen or rather heard by visiting the chouf mountain. Or aley.
At a certain level, humidity is superior, or in case there's a river near-by, take jahlie, mosquitos are remarkably more abundant, in fact, the pine forests, have those special insects sounds.
However, i don't see how more buildings could drag more insects, thinking it over, it is probably the opposite, as plants drag insects.
Oh! and Glad you're better now.
