Hello fellow geeks,
Two questions:
1) Would you trust PCandParts to ONLY use new components in case you buy a PC from them with assembly included.
I mean when you buy the components you can see a plastic wrap on the boxes before you open them... what about when you ask them to build your PC for you and you cannot verify that the parts used are brand new ?
2) What about their technicians' expertise when it comes to things like setting thermal paste correctly and doing proper cable management ?
All opinions are welcome (especially people who have already bought pre-assembled PCs).

I bought a pre assembled PC from them years ago and I still have it, it's flawless. There's no way for you to know if they were sealed or not, but for the most part I feel very comfortable dealing with those guys, I've never been disappointed. Their technicians should be more than able to do this as it's a fairly basic job.

I trusted them, even gave them a CPU that I got from Canada which they didn't have back then (i7 4770K).
They give you all the boxes with your system along with extra cables and parts. Everything.
No problem so far.

I prefer " none-warehouse" kind of online shops regardless of users' experiences , and as personal preferences.
I prefer: To assemble/customize my own system or trust a shop where I go enter any time and see the progress , order of parts before assembly , last moment changes etc..

Yes I understand. I prefer that too but I don't have much time to assemble my own PC and the last time I did that was back in 2008... I kind of lost my touch.
I have also never done cable management.
