Hey i was wondering if one could change his 'noufous' or civil registry place, it might come in handy if you don't live in the same place.
Let's say you come from the mountains and live in the city, or vice versa. Either way you'll face problems when voting, doing paperwork etc.
So is it possible? Or not assuming it could cause religion-demography unbalance in Lebanon?
thanks in advance!

I know one of the conditions of being able to change is buying property in the area where you are going to change to, but there are some other circumstances which allow you to do that too. I will ask a politically active cousin later this week when I have to run into him. Sigh....

As far as I know it's hard to change it because that might, like you said it, cause religion-demography unbalance in Lebanon.

It's possible but there are conditions. As xazbrat said the main one is living and/or owning property for a long time in the place you're changing to.
