  • Adidas Climalite vs Climacool?

So I went to Adidas shop and I liked a tshirt for fitness with Climalite tech, I am used to use Climacool or Climachill for our warm summer days in Lebanon, so I wonder if the Climalite is much less optimized for warm temps than other tech or it's purely marketing and in reality it's very close to Climacool tech performance?

these are just marketing schemes .
i agree with stygmata, i mean they won't just cancel climacool, but rather rename it, or build on it.
No one can tell for sure unless they work there, but in my opinion it's just marketing
Here's the official definitions:
-Ventilated climacool® keeps you cool and dry

-climalite® fabric sweeps sweat away from your skin

So climacool is supposed to be climalite + ventilated, but when touching the textiles in the shop you don't feel a difference, I usually buy climacool but there is a particular climalite tshirt that I liked more this time
Just see which one you like more---I have a few of each and prefer the climalite. The climacool ones stick to me when working out and it is a bit more uncomfortable while the climalite ones get soaked in sweat but leave me mostly dry. If you don't believe in 'saf'et hawa' like me, I stand in front of a fan and it helps me cool off quicker.

Saf'et hawa...
I always wondered what it is, basically it turned out to be the way of older people of explaining unexplainable pain.
Yep!
I always fight with these illogical people in the gym who don't want to put AC in summer because of that legend.
I went to Adidas store, I tried both tshirts, I have found climacool not so cool in design, very poor choice of colors, while with climalite there are tons of design and colors, they have 2 models for heavy lift that I liked. As for the shorts I will take a Climachill one because it has 2 zipped pockets which can be useful for smartphone and keys
climacool and climachill .. i bet you have gym gloves on too

Your shirt matters when exercising. Choose one that allows proper body respiration. A regular "fanilla" is just wrong.

Gloves are not necessary and actually give a bad habit of being scared/not able to lift without them.

Stygmata you sound like one of those macho guys that exercise topless with jeans. Prove me wrong please.

cotton baggy pants - close to this :

+ cotton gym "flanella" - similar to this :

.. the most important item is my heavy lifting is my back belt and my flat gym shoe ..
im 175 cm and 95 kg but i can bench press max 120 KG ( 1 set , 10 reps ) and squat 80 kgs alone or 120 with a spotter

sweat is good ..it cools your body when you exercise ..this is why we have showers in the gym
Problem is I sweat so much it gets annoying. My head literally keeps dripping like it's raining; proper gym wear helps with such annoyances.

i work out in Congo with temperature above 30 degrees .. the best solution : a fan or an AC .. it will cool you down and keep you away from heat fatigue .. also cold water is good
