Hey guys,

Here's the situation, I mistakenly dropped my Nexus 6P on the street face down (obviously), and theres a crack in the top left corner.

Anyone know where I can get it repaired? I called around, no one does it, and even called Samsung Service Center since they are the same distrubuter as Hawaei.

Thanks
Sorry to break it to you but it's impossible to find anything for this device in Lebanon (parts and accessories)
@dio

Try Class or Star Communications (Amhaz).
Yeah I figured as much.

Star Com and Class both don't have replacements.

It's a tiny crack so it's not so bad. I guess I can just wait till someone figure out how to do it :P

Ill keep you guys posted.

That's funny concidering that the 6p comes with warranty from stars.everything is a joke in this country
I bought my phone from the UK play store, which also comes with a 12 month warranty, and I called Google UK and US yesterday, the UK branch says the warranty does not cover accidental drops, while the US one said I need to be a resident of the US or Canada to have them fix it.

Shit outta luck. I figure the only thing I could do is sell mine and pay the difference for a new one.
^ A warranty by definition will never cover user damage. It's only a guarantee from the OEM that your device will work flawlessly out of the box and for the next year, that's it. You have to pay to fix it even if you are in the US/UK.
Is it so big a crack that you have to sell and buy a new one? I kinda understand, I also can't live with something like that even if it's a tiny scratch. OCD issues

Regular shops can't offer real warranties to begin with because they don't get free spare parts from the manufacturer. They buy from random importers and resell.
Only dealerships can offer real warranties because they get spare parts from the manufacturer.
Also warranties only cover breakage that occurs as a result of manufacturing error. For example, after a month of using a TV remote, you discover something wrong inside it that prevents you from replacing the battery.

yes i understand that but let's suppose someone bought a 6p with malfunctioning screen. How are they suppose to fix it if they don't even have the pats? Why would they offer warranties if they can't fix malfunctioning parts?

Because, as you said, everything is a joke in this country. This sort of thing should be illegal. It is false advertising and something consumers should be protected from.
