Hi guys, I have a degree in MIS and I have someone who can help me get a job at a bank.
The problem is I have no experience in anything related to my major and I am very confused about my major careers...
I have an interview in 4 days but I am afraid about if they ask me what do you want to work.
I have seen a lot of career options for MIS but I think all of them require experience and not entry level position.
If they ask me what do you want to work...What should I say ?
What kind of job I can have in a bank with my degree and no experience... ???
One more thing... What skills should I have as an MIS student ? (Both personal and technical).
Thanks

Don't worry too much man,
First of all, they will not ask you what do you want to work, they probably have a vacancy that they must fill, and they assume that your skills can fill this vacancy, this is why they asked you for an interview, and in the first period of your work, you will be assisting someone for sure, you won't be left alone.
Don't worry too much, just wear something formal, don't forget the tie, check the net for what to say and what not to say.
Good Luck

Im an MIS student myself, first semester,
i have been told that you will most likely work in IT or networking in banks and stuff like that.
Now not to hijack your thread.
do you still have your books that i can borrow? xD.

If you are asked which banking job function interest you, as an MSI Graduate you can excel in the following banking entry jobs:
Back Office Support
Teller
Junior Credit Analyst (Corporate or Individual Loans)
IT / Network Support
Credit Analysis (Evaluation of Financial Statements or Financial Solvency) , and Teller (Dealing with Customers Day to Day Operations) are two niche steps to build a banking career and progress. Hopefully , you will get offered in these two banking core job functions.
Good Luck
