Seagate or western digital ?
Which one you think is better ? WD my passport ultra , wd elements, seagate expansion, backup plus...?
please feel free to share your experiences
never had an issue with a WD passport
Western Digital all the way.
Thing is Seagate used to be infamous for their failure rate. It should be fixed now.
WD Passeport are very nice with USB 3.0, I bought a used one and it's buttery smooth with speed up to 120mb/s
I think Toshiba external HDD are also pretty solid
I bought a 2TB transcend external a week ago, comes with a 3 year warranty, looking great so far...
I finally got a western digital my passport ultra 2TB from pcandparts
By the way ,I have an old seagate expansion portable hdd which is still going good ,but after i read about their failure rates i was a little worried of its reliability despite i saw many good reviews for the seagate backup plus slim ; so i was confused which to buy.
anyway, thanks for sharing your experiences guys
