  • Stars (Amhaz) warranty?

So I have the choice for a phone between a Gomobile and Stars warranty.
The difference is only 15$ more for gomobile, but I will have to wait another 24h to get it, the Stars warranty is good for an HTC phone (that can't be opened and fixed due to closed shell) or they won't respect their warranty in case of hardware fault?
When i bought my Note 4 from stars City Centre, i asked and insisted on asking more than one time, the employee assured me that if hardware faults exist, the warranty will cover it.
Although i honestly forgot if he told me that this faulty hardware warranty is applied only for the first week, or the entire year.

It's for the whole year now, but I wanted to know if they reckon the warranty and fix or swap the phone without problem or they will try to create an excuse to bypass the warranty like let say ''this is an HTC closed shell phone, because it's a closed shell we take an extra 50-100$ for labor and the warranty is on the pieces that will be fixed only''. Gomobile is not perfect, I had an M7 with warranty and even though the camera was faulty out of the box, they made me wait 48h without a phone to get an OK from HTC Taiwan so they swap the phone under warranty. Perhaps Stars is better in that case as they won't wait for an OK LOL.
Also I am going to root the phone (not S-OFF) so I don't know if Gomobile still covers it or they can say ''from the HTC online database you unlocked the phone so the warranty is void''.
Stars warranty is only software I reckon. I would go for Gomobile for sure. Dealing with the Stars thugs isn't easy.
Ok, I am going to get a Gomobile version, I have found a shop even cheaper with Gomobile warranty, so now the difference is only 10$ ;)
Dunno if I put a screen glass protection, the G4 I had didn't get a single scratch over 5 months because I really take care of my phone
The glass protector will shield you from explosions if you drop the phone, I don't usually apply it for scratches. With Gorilla Glass there will be no scratches anyway unless it's something sharp. But it will protect you from shattering if you drop the device. Worth the 10$

Both shops that should have the A9 black pretended not having it today and it's for tomorrow but both are not sure there will be! They only can get the silver one.
I talked directly to Gomobile asking if there is any shortage of A9 black and he pretended that not at all, so I think these small cell shops are buying Gomobile phones from a big re-seller that can get better prices as he get big stocks, but then I am the one who will stay without phone :(
Tomorrow if both cell shops can't grab an A9 black from gomobile I will get the Stars one from their Carrefour shop
