Hello everyone,
I have an Hp Pavilion Dv6 3190ee. And it is dead. I used it for downloading and so on, since i got my desktop finished.
Anyway i sent it to be diagnosed and it turned out to be something related to the psu and the motherboard need to be changed
Oh well i have been waiting for that motherboard for like 2 months+ . However i have been offered to sell it the way it is for 200$( it is still in good shape nothing else damaged)
So i was wondering if some other places do buy such things, scrap laptops. Or i should just accept their offer?
Thank you
ironman
I think 200$ is a pretty good price for a WORKING DV6, so it should be super amazing for a DV6 with a damaged MotherBoard.
Do it Man

TRY ANOTHER STORE, the motherboard is probably not damaged.

it was supposed to be ONLY the psu, but they did not manage to do anything, it was like 40$ to fix the psu
the motherboard would cost like 240$ i guess, so what was the suggestion that, instead of paying 240$ i would sell it for 200$, so that makes it 440$ to buy another laptop
Well i would never buy a 500$-ish laptop. Instead i would get something decent around 1.2k , as i already have a 3k$ desktop
Good plan?

I have an hp pavilion dv9600 check if their boards are compatible, I am not using it anymore and can give the board to you. Plus I broke its screen, donated its network card and reused its hard disk.
Edit: Never mind, yours is too newish, mine is ancient.
