i saw this pad/phone : Asus Fonepad 7 Dual SIM ME175CG-1B011A $221.00
Do you guys think its worth an upgrade from the samsung galaxy S2 ?!
I spent all my money on my new build, which costed me 3k+
And my S2 battery is not so much helpful these days
I checked that pad on amazon(india), it has a high rating (http://www.amazon.in/Asus-Fonepad-ME175CG-1A007A-Tablet-Calling/dp/B00JQ7PALM)
So i need to get a budget smartphone, as i am saving for a new keyboard or mouse or even Oculus Rift
I got the HyperX Cloud 2,but it hurt my ears
Merry Christmas and Happy new year

The fonepad 7 is a bit old now with low spec as it was intended to be used as a phablet .. if you can put an extra 100$ go for the zenfone 2 (the normal one) it has a very good spec and an all around good reviews.

As for the hyper x cloud 2 .. they will take some time to get really comfortable to them (about 2 weeks to a month) changing the padding to the valor ones helps a lot at first.
Thanks for the advise
And well is it possible to find the zenfone here in lebanon?
i asked pcandparts if they can get it for me but they said they cannot :\
i have never used an Asus smartphone, but well i read they make some good smartphones, not only good pc hardware
I didn't hear about asus phones in leb (i have seen acer phones at spotnet in hamra though) ... i shipped my zenfone 2 to Oman with borderlinx and my brother got it for me when he visited in the summer (it was way cheaper than shipping it to lebanon)
And how much overall costed you? its price and the shipping
And do you like that phone?
I think there's a few Lenovo phones for around that price that would be better.
For that price you could go for a G4 Stylus here in Lebanon. (try to make sure it's the one with the 2 gigs of RAM)
Well i need a smartphone with good battery, is it possible to find the Htc m9?!
If you're looking for a good battery, in my opinion go for the Xperia Z series. Anything from the Z, Z1, Z2, to the Z5 has a great battery. (minus the Z3+/Z4, apparently)

I personally currently own a Z1 Compact (Nexus 5X on the way) and there hasn't been a day where this phone didn't last me the whole day (with around 30% at 9-10PM) with moderate usage.
I am runnin a custom ROM on my galaxy S2. After like 2momths since i first got it. I modified something with its software, root experiments lets say :p
So after a reboot, my S2 got stuck into a reboot loop.
So i decided to flash Cynogenmod on it. This was like 4 years ago. And since then i keep updating my S2. Right now i am running 5.1.1 and when the marshamllow is no longer in Alpha phase i will try it haha
My battey is draining in a ridiculous way. I only have whatsapp installed, ONLY . i do use he browser too. And guess how many times i charge it a day. 3 times.
As i do everything on my pc, i only need the smartphone for whatsapp only
When i first got it, i used to play alot of heavy games back then hehe
I changed the battery like 5months ago, but i guess the phone must be replaced
I'm not surprised it's lasted that long. The S2 is one of the best Android phones ever released. The fact that it'll soon be running Marshmallow is a good reminder. But if the battery needs to be charged 3 times a day, you could either go for a ZeroLemon-like battery if those exist for the S2 or just buy a new phone altogether. I recommend the latter, of course.
Yeah i highly agree. I got the Kingsont HyperX cloud 2 headphones , but my inner ears hurt me so much after only 2 hours of music listening . and since then did not use them, so i am planning on selling them and then add the extra money for a new smartphone.
So the budget now is like 350 $ . Though i am not sure if i should sell the headphones, maybe i would get used to them after my pain is gone?! Like its been like that for a week now , the pain of course is less than before, but my right ear i feel like i am deaf hahaha
If it hurts your ears, it's not worth the risk in my opinion.
for anyone trying on ear for the first time they will feel between strange and hurtful .. i hope you tried changing the outer cups from leather to valor .. they are more comfortable and the air flow makes the experience for music much better .. the leather cup are more for bass and gaming than any other application.
Yeah i did put on the other ear cups.
And well the pain is for like a week now, of course less than the first day it started, i only used them for like 3 hour. After i removed the headphones (leather earpads) off of my head, my ears were , heated up alot, lets say. I did put on the other earcups afterwards, there were better, however i did not try them for long time after i changed them. i do not even know if i should keep them or just get rid of them.
I guess i have sensitive ears?! i cannot stand earphones in my ears for more than 2mins.
