When formal employees from major mobile phones company join forces, Nextbit is born.
Their goal is to integrate unique and original ideas to their products that has not been made before.
And their first product is Robin.
What's special about this phone is its squarish design and its friendly price of 399$. But what really differentiate it from other smartphones is its cloud system. When those dots under the cloud logo lights up, the phone automatically backs up unused apps to the cloud system and seemingly "deletes" the app from from the phone freeing up from phone's storage, and when the app is launched, it's launched from the cloud storage while it's re-downloading the app. (Yes, it can be a bit frustrating here in Lebanon)
From their official site: "Whenever it’s plugged in and on Wi-Fi, it backs up your apps and photos. And when you need space, it archives the things you use least, so you always have space for what you want most. There’s always a thumbnail for everything archived, and with one click it’s back on Robin. You don't have to log back in and you never lose your data."
The phone comes with 32 GB internal storage ( with 100 GB of cloud storage), Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 , 3GB RAM, 5.2in IPS LCD 1080p, 13 mp camera, a 2680 mAh camera, and a fingerprint sensor at the side.
It's expected to be released at February 2016, and it comes in 2 colors, mint and midnight blue.
