ch-b I got 2400mhz rams 16gb corsair but the bios is reading it as 1333mhz and when i enable the xmp my cpu overheat a little since im on a stock cooler can i just leave my rams at 1333mhz? does it make any difference between 1333mhz vs 2400mhz in gaming?

If it doesnt Have an XMP profile for 1600 I think you have to manually edit the voltage and speed. Dont you have 2 xmp profiles? One that's less than 2400?

RockmasteR you need to check your motherboard, what the max frequency it can handle maybe it is 1333? that's why it's showing 1333 Mhz
