  • Where to report facebook bugs?

Apparently if your buddy list is private, Facebook still suggests people on your buddy list to each other even if you are the only mutual friend (it tells them you are the mutual friend).
I reported this in their support dashboard already 5 times in the last year but they keep closing my support report using some automated message that my feedback will be used to improve facebook.
Since this is a privacy issue, does anyone actually have an email or something where I can do bug reports?

Yes, I know facebook is dumb, etc...etc... But only one person on my buddy list is not a direct family member.
This is one of the things that suck about facebook.
Another one being them changing the privacy settings all the time which results in the user publishing stuff he did not intend to.
I dont think they value privacy and security as much as they pretend to.
I never actually posted anything on my facebook page. I only use it for the chat thing which is why I was trying to secure my contact list.
it's not a bug, it's a feature

Actually Facebook does admit once you change the setting that the mutual friends thing is related to that mutual friend's setting.

Here is how it works:
-If he/she has the same setting as you, meaning only me setting, then no one sees that you are both mutual friends except both of you.
-If you changed your setting to only me and the mutual friend to friends only then your friends will see him/her as mutual friends with you.

Also there is a note under the Friends list privacy stating:
Remember: Your friends control who can see their friendships on their own timelines. If people can see your friendship on another timeline, they'll be able to see it in news feed, search and other places on Facebook. They'll also be able to see mutual friends on your timeline.

In my case, both my list and my sister's list are set to 'me only'. Facebook still suggests everyone she adds to me.

But no one can see that you are both friends.

It mentions that my sister is the mutual friend when it suggests someone.

To you it will mention but not to a 3rd party. Friend or not to one of you.
Just dont use facebook. I know many who dont because of privacy and I respect that. I care about it but not to that point (yet?), and I dont post information about where I live and work.
